As announced previously on our website, QinetiQ Novare was, in August 2007, certified by SAI Global as a Quality Endorsed Company. QinetiQ Novare has since been formally appointed as an Established Supplier of Engineering Services of Acceptable Quality by the DMO's Guided Weapons and Explosive Ordnance (GWEO) Branch. This 'Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) like' recognition, afforded under the provision of the ADF Technical Airworthiness Regulations, allows QinetiQ Novare to provide GWEO with engineering products that have been Design Approved in accordance with Novares Engineering Management System (EMS) and can undergo Commonwealth Design Acceptance accordingly. QinetiQ Novare is the only EO company in Australia to achieve 'AEO like' recognition.

Using our new appointment, QinetiQ Novare has recently delivered to GWEO a Design Approved Service Life Extension for an item of explosive ordnance in support of urgent operational requirements. This was the first Design Approved product delivered using QinetiQ Novare's AEO like status and was completed in less than 72 hours. QinetiQ Novare's ability to deliver Design Approved products using its own EMS ensures we are able to rapidly respond to such urgent tasks, whilst maintaining the highest levels of technical integrity. Moreover, it minimises the effort required by our clients to accept and incorporate our engineering products.
